After weeks of deciding and being inspired by renowned bloggers as well as encouragements by fellow friends, i resigned to temptation and decided to have a blog site of my own, and I am indeed happy with my decision as I can blog creatively with so many options available, rather than the stupid monotonous friendster (@#*#@

So..................I kick off my first blog with a rather silly pic.......................

to those who see this pic u can laugh as much as u want, but that shows how I am feeling right now... ESTHATIC! =D haha. This blog is officially my first REAL blog, and I am certainly glad to experience first-hand in what blogging is truly all about. I have read blogs by renowned pioneers of blogging such as Kenny Sia and Xiaxue, and I was truly mesmorized by their writings which reflected so many aspects of what is happening around the globe. Not only that, they also touch on the personal lives of people which incessantly reflect the many conflicts happening around us in which we did not realize them ourselves. So I am motivated to initiate a blog for myself as I myself have opinions to be expressed, but of cause i wont be as good as the professionals. =)

Guess what that is? If u are a Mika fan u will know that that pic is actually Mika's album cover, aka Life In Cartoon Motion. It clearly shows that the theme of my blog is based on the album title, and if you want to know why, try listening to his songs! I find his songs unique in the sense that he blends pop, jazz and slow tunes perfectly, making the songs with the feel of the good old 80's. His famous hits like Grace Kelly, Lollipop, and My Happy Ending certainly bear resemblence of Micheal Jackson and Elton John's (the super gay=p) fine tunes.

But it's not the music that really matters, in fact it is the meaning of the album title that catches my attention. Life In Cartoon Motion, as we know cartoons are sometimes illogical yet they reveal the many aspects of our lives without is knowing. We sometimes commit ourselves to a world of fantasy as we try 2 achieve something beyond our dreams, just as how a cartoon character jumps down from a 100-floor building and not dying. Besides our lives are full of unexpected things, or as what we always call - colourful life. Ahh i so want to eat lollipop now haha! =P
