Finally

I see the meaning of work!

After consecutive days of so-called "trainee" work (actually it is cheap labour to be honest) whereby few trainees and myself were asked, or paid to do filing. Filing as in arranging files according to numbers ONLY, and what's worse, we are supposed to arrange EVERYTHING in the new office room at the top floor.

What worst time could I possibly have to come to work in a company which just got renovated? GOSH!

And to think that the management said that we trainee MOST probably might not have place to sit as all the employees are back from their leaves.

We are the ones arranging the room for you people, and you tell me that we DO NOT have place to sit in the new office?

I'm really thankful I'm blessed with tremendous patience and few employers in there who were still nice to us, especially Claudine, the company secretary. =)

I have so many darn hillarious tales to share here with all of you in my 2 weeks of work, and I'll post more when I'm free. =D

Despite all the hard and nonsense work for the past few days, I think it finally paid off. At first, I came to office and sat there staring at the ceiling for a good one hour (which I'm amazed as it was the emptiest moment of my life) as the person I'm assigned to, was so busy that she forgot about us I assume. So after a good one hour sticking my butt to the chair, I somehow got inspired to go ask a senior near my desk to teach me what was he doing as I see hope in him.

IT REALLY DID!

My definition of work starts from that moment of brilliance. Lol.

So this senior, who has been working for quite a few years now, taught me the first thing auditors must do, which is statutory auditing. So after a brief explanation in which I'm already so happy like a dog wagging its two tails,

HE SO KINDLY ASKED THE SENIORS FOR ME IF THERE ARE ANY STATUTORY AUDIT FILES TO DO! =D

God's wonderful man. So we started with some files, and although my first attempt was very hard, I think I smiled for the longest period in my entire 2 weeks here at work. Lol.

I don't mind not having permanent seats as long as I have something to learn. =)
