S.I / U.C.K. @ 2008

Yes. It was sUckish to be sIckish.

No other words than "worst" when I started 2008 with heavy sickness. And heavy I do mean fever, stomach ache and really bad sore throat. Never got sick for that long before, and to happen on the start of the new year really comes up worst of the worse. But as now with God's healing powers I recovered with still the sore throat bothering me only, I do hope that I can kickstart the new year with, not to say a bang, but at least better than last year.

With so much hype and anticipation to the new year, surprisingly enough the celebrations were considered not as massive as it had been for the previous years. I could still remember last year, the celebration pictures were all over the papers, but this time, only that miserable few pages. And for me, though it may seem it's just another year, this time times have REALLY changed. Know why?

Expectations will be much DIFFERENT and HIGHER this time around, as the front of my age took a 360 degree turn from 1 - 2.

TWENTY. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

But it's a fact. Let's face it folks. Days and nights pass by so easily that once you reach a new day of your life, you regret missing the old. Maybe you don't, but I do. =( Of course, we can't escape from moving on, as the earth never turns backwards, so I don't really mind moving forward with God above me. =)

And as I ponder towards the good side of getting old, 2008 might be a GREAT year ahead. Major events to look out for:

Beijing Olympics
EURO 2008 (The sparks will still be there even there is no England)

Two fantastic sporting event which promise to bring you FULL blast. =D And not to forget, the EPL moves closer to the curtain-closing period when the title-chase heats up with MU hot on Arsenal's heels, with Chelsea a reasonable distance from the top two. Wait,

Where's LIVERPOOL? XD

Lol. Maybe miracles can happen, but logically, they are effectively out of the title race. But if they can beat Chelsea and Arsenal for MU's favour, I might still say Liverpool is a great team. =P

Okay, I hope that I can have a great year once again. Happy new year to every single one for you. =D
