Down Memory Lane

The good thing about Chinese New Year is that the 15-day-period is sufficient for us to go around the neighbourhood and share the spirit of togetherness, be it with your family or friends.
Aka "Bai Nian".
The bad thing about this, meanwhile, is that you don't really see if there are too less people participating. To me, the more people, the more "oomph" you get.
ANGPAUS are more also. XD
Too bad, it didn't happen for me this year. Yesterday, my high school mates and I started off the Bai Nian programme which we started doing since 2003 by going around the Bukit Maluri, Kepong Baru, Kepong as well as Sungai Buloh housing areas to visit the houses of each and everyone of us. This time, the distinctive difference from previous years is that there are only six of us that time. =(
So after lunch at Menjalara, we started of the first house, which is Lin Fang's house.

The host, at the right-corner, is definitely posing while talking.

So on average we will "lepak" at a house for approximately 15-30 minutes, depends how much crap we talked about or the generous host wishes to donate some free money by being the banker. XD And of course, the ULTIMATE reason, is to wait for the red packet to reach our warm hands.
UNFORTUNATELY, WE CAN'T GET THE FIRST ANGPAU AS HER PARENTS ARE NOT AROUND. =S
So the sequence goes on and on, in the pictures below will show.

Kim Hung's house. Done.
Moving on......

Loke Lim aka Gay Gay's house. (He really has the gay looks =P)

The undescribable envy.
Such a bad influence. Imagine him studying in front of the PC and just a turn of the head, it's the television. =P
Proceeding to......

MY house! =D Somehow the "HK leg" of Aaron spoils the picture lol.
Then we head to Aaron's house after finishing the Kepong area. Sorry I forgot to take a picture of your house, as I was into your X-Box. XD Lol.
Then finally......

Chai Earn's (right) house.

Honesty is NOT the best policy when you play Bluff. The left one is Gay Gay by the way.

RM5 is the popular choice among Malaysians.
So it's the end of Bai Nian Edition 2008. Somehow the six of us did not allow the so-called SMK Kepong Baru (my school) tradition disappear though there were only so few of us.
Sigh.
Back in those years, the amount of us participating is nearly double the amount this year, and what's so memorable was that last time, with no one of us knowing how to drive yet, we WALKED around the areas to reach the destinations. Tonnes and tonnes of fun missed. =(

Bai Nian Edition 2004.

Bai Nian Edition 2006.

Bai Nian Edition 2007.
As you can see, just by seeing the pictures alone is already enough to make you missing the old and fun days. I know I looked bit different last time, but that doesn't matter okay. =)
